US High School Program

The Zoped Academy High School Program is a unique opportunity for international high school students to participate in a hybrid program with local high schools and their students.

A selective group of international students will be taking classes at local high schools in the San Francisco Bay Area, in addition to classes at Zoped Academy along side with local high school students.

This program was designed to bring about an intentional mutual learning environment.  International students will have the opportunity to learn first hand about the US, while at the same time local high school students will have the opportunity to learn about various cultures and communities from around the world through formal and information interactions with international students.

At Zoped Academy we are a bid believer of not only formation education, but also informal educational practices and curriculum. And we believe this hybrid program is an incredible opportunity to bring students together, face to face, for an incredible experience.

Curriculum

The curriculum is a hybrid program where international students will be taking classes in the morning at their local high school. In the afternoons they will then be attending classes at Zoped Academy with local high school students.

The curriculum will be following the International Baccalaureate® (IB) model focusing on “teaching students to think critically and independently, and how to inquire with care and logic. The IB prepares students to succeed in a world where facts and fiction merge in the news, and where asking the right questions is a crucial skill that will allow them to flourish…”

Students will learn:
